Bicester, ledbury, Caxton Gibbet, Bicester. 328km

Not an easy day at all. And it all finished very quickly. Had a fairly easy (although slow) run to Caxton, with a few good climbs. Kept high and happy but there was a very definite end to the clouds ahead. Decided to get as high as possible and took off at best glide. Almost still air, into wind but with some sink (there always is!) meant we only just got back. Slowest of the finishers, but only 11 finished. LS8-18's really are very good - difficult to catch and then it nearly kept up….
